Normand Schafer

Normand Schafer founded the agency behind Paltino and has specialised in the South Pacific since 1996. He has personally travelled to more than 60 countries, and his focus is custom, private experiences designed around each traveller rather than packaged itineraries.

Norm is a licensed travel-insurance advisor in British Columbia and a certified specialist many times over. He is also a licensed drone pilot who photographs and films the destinations he sells — so his advice on which resort, which room, which island and which season comes from first-hand experience.
